First Pin Photos!! & What's next 🙌

Hello friends!
As I mentioned in my last update, after receiving the funds from Kickstarter we always start with a long wait. A wait that seems to be coming to an end now 👀
After receiving the funds I prepared all the files and ordered all the necessary products from my manufacturers and then went on a much needed little vacation. Today is my first day back to work and I have something *very* exciting to show you. The first photos of the pins!! 😁
These photos were sent over by my manufacturer and I think they look incredible!! 🤩 I can't wait to get receive them and give you all some real life updates on what they look like 🥰
I've also received word that the Mousepads are en route to me so it can't be long until I'll be receiving those and be able to send you a real live photo of them too.
This means that in the upcoming weeks while I wait for all the items to arrive I'll be getting started on all the manual work of printing and cutting and pressing. I'm very happy with the pin banner fabric quality but I don't like the string they used, it feels too flimsy to me. So I'll be buying some custom string/rope and fixing all of that myself too :)
Besides the products I'll also be designing all the branding stuff that make it so much fun to open your packages when they arrive in your home. After that it's just a case of putting together your packages and sending them all your way!
At this moment we are well ahead of schedule! 😃
Important stuff: What's next
All of the backers have now successfully filled out their reward surveys!! Thank you so much for that!! 🙌
When all the products are ready and I'll start packing orders I'll go to Backerkit and Lock your orders. That means you won't be able to make any more changes after that point. Naturally you'll receive an email before the orders are locked to give you time to make any adjustments. Until then you can still change your address, change the add-ons you added during your survey and all of that.
When the orders are locked your credit cards will get charged for any add-ons you may have ordered.
(If you didn't add any add ons, you won't receive any additional charges since you've already paid for your kickstarter pledge and shipping through Kickstarter :))
And that'll be it! All the packages will get packed up and shipped to you as soon as I've received the additional funds and we'll all be able to enjoy our shiny new pins!! 🤩

Hello friends! Yesterday at noon CET the campaign counted down it's last seconds and I'm so excited to be able to say that we've managed to fund ALL the stretch goals!! Including the Pin banner!!! 🤩
The last minute backers put us over the top and now we can start bringing this dreamy collection to life!! 🌙🙌✨
What happens next?
Step 1 : Payment
Now that the campaign has ended Kickstarter will start collecting the pledges. These funds will be gathered and sent to me in about two weeks time after which I can start to get all these goodies made! Yay! 🙌
At this point you should have received an email from Kickstarter itself confirming your payment for your pledge or letting you know there is a problem with your payment. Please check if you've received either email, it could be in your spam folder :)
If there is a problem with your payment, please sort that out as soon as possible so that I can continue on with creating the products and sending them to you! 💕
Step 2 : Surveys
You'll be receiving a survey this week where you can give me your address and where you can specify your preferences for which pins/stickers/prints etc. you want to receive so keep a look out for that! You'll be receiving these surveys from Backerkit. I hope this will give a better survey experience to both of us and it also gives you the opportunity to add something to your order if you ended up missing out on any add-ons that you still want to receive. Isn't that cool?
Step 3 : I get to work!
As soon as I've gotten the funds I'll get to work ordering all the various products and to manufacturing the things that I'll be making by hand. This can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. The longest wait is always for the pins but once they're in, I can start the final step of packing all your orders and shipping them out to you!
When can I expect my goodies?
At this moment that's impossible to say because it really depends on how quickly the various manufacturers can make and send the products and how quickly I can do things on my end! Packing 70+ packages takes some time as you can imagine. I've set our timeline up so that we'll have plenty of room. So I expect the packages to be shipping out to you anywhere between June and August! Of course I'll keep you updated on the progress and let you know once I start packing! Don't worry, I won't leave you hanging 💖

Hello friends!
With only 40 hours left on the clock, we're in the very final stretch of the campaign! We've managed to unlock all of the initial stretch goals which means everyone who ordered prints as part of their reward will be able to choose their own print set after the campaign ends. You'll be able to choose between all 5 of the illustrations I've made for the campaign so there's something in there for everyone! 🙌
Pin Banners!!
I've also added a new reward! Because the campaign isn't moving along as I'd hoped, I doubt we'll be able to unlock it fully. However, if you've added the Pin Banner as an add-on you will receive it regardless of whether it's unlocked. If it doesn't get unlocked that only means that those with the full package won't get a pin banner for free, that's all 😉
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to fully finish the design that I'll be printing on the banners today due to a migraine but here is a first mockup so you can see what sort of design I'm looking at for the final product! I'll be hand-printing these just like I did last year's tote bags and I'm really excited to offer a way to display all those shiny pins! 🥰
While the campaign hasn't gone as well as I'd hoped I'm so relieved that we've gathered the funds to get all these lovely things made and shipped out to all of you lovely backers! That much is guaranteed at this point! 👏

Only one week left!! Unlocked Stretch goals & A new surprise 👀✨

Hello backers! Today we've officially entered the final stretch of the campaign. Only one week left and you'll be receiving your questionnaires and I can start getting all these beautiful things made and sent out to you 💕
The past week and a half went really well. All of the pins were already unlocked and everyone gets a digital freebie in the form of wallpapers but this week we've also unlocked all the stickers, the bookmarks AND the mousepad! I'm ecstatic!! Thank you all so much!! 🙌🎉✨
There was a big stretch goal reward that I've been wanting to add since day 1 but I wasn't sure if we'd be able to get that far. Today I decided to put on my brave shoes and add it! Scroll on down to find out what we can still unlock in this last week.
Still Locked Rewards
Since we unlocked the Mousepads today there really only was 1 reward left to unlock; the prints. But because we're doing so well I decided to aim for the stars and add a last and final reward..
Pin Banners!! ✨
If you've been collecting pins like I have there is one problem we all run into; How do we show off all of these pins? That's where pin banners come in! These canvas banners will have a custom design by yours truly to fit with the collection that I will be printing on them by hand, just like with the Space Cats Kickstarters totebags. The design is still a secret for now but if we unlock it I'll show it as soon as I can.
How to get the banner?
You can add a banner as an add-on to whichever pledge you have by changing your pledge, or you can choose The Full Package tier. If you've already chosen 'The Full Package' (early bird or normal) you get this additional reward automatically as soon as it's unlocked! Now we're still a ways away from unlocking this reward and of course, it does need to get unlocked first. But if we get very lucky this last week then we can all display our pins on a custom-designed pin banner!! 🤩
How to add the Pin Banner as an add on :
- Head on over to the kickstarter page : http://kck.st/3upieTR
- Click on Manage your pledge
- Hit the purple "Change your pledge" (don't worry nothing will be changed so far)
- Click on the green "Pledge ..."

If you picked a starter pack (or any other reward!) and had your eye on another pin (especially now that all the pins are unlocked 😏), you can now add them without giving up your other starter pack goodies!
How to add pins as an add on :
- Head on over to the kickstarter page : http://kck.st/3upieTR
- Click on Manage your pledge
- Hit the purple "Change your pledge" (don't worry nothing will be changed so far)
- Click on the green "Pledge ..."
- Now the Add ons will show up and you can add an extra pin or anything else if you like! :)
All the add-ons will be active until the campaign ends.. so if one of these little critters keeps growing on you, help yourselves!
